Welcome to the decksteria big room workout mix 2012.  The inspiration for this mix came from one of my long term listeners who is battling in the gym and needs something a bit more pumping than the normal commercial & house mixes.

So, here we have 2 hours of finest Progressive, Electro & Trance tunes - some old & some new.  Many of the tracks in this mix are personal favourites of mine, and I have also used them with devastating effect on a dancefloor.  This mix will get you motivated not only to exercise but go clubbing too!

Here's the tracklist;

1.  James Egbert - Back To New (3Lau Remix)
2.  Mat Zo - Superman
3.  Starkillers ft Nadia Ali & Alex Kenji - Pressure (Alesso Remix)

7.  Nero - Must Be The Music (Funkagenda Remix)

80 Minutes of current commercial floorfillers and mashups from some of the biggest artists on the planet.

Here it is then guys & girls my May 2012 Commercial Floorfillers mix!  Many of the tracks on this one truly are tried and tested with great crowd response.  This mix shows what I like to play at a commercial level - sure to some listeners this may be too cheesey - but I feel there's a great crossover in this mix.  Starts off fairly urban with one of the most requested tracks of the year so far - 212.  Switch off NOW if you're easily offended EXPLICIT LYRICS!  Then the mix culminates with the return of one of my all time favourite EDM artists - the mighty DEADMAU5

So, here's the tracklist:

2.  Azaelia Banks - 212
3.  D'Banj - Oliver Twist
4.  Skepta - Punch His Face
5.  Donaeo - Party Hard
6.  Bodyrox ft Chipmunk - Bow Wow Wow
7.  DJ Fresh ft Rita Ora - Hot Right Now
8.  Olly Murs - Oh My Goodness
9.  Conor Maynard - Can't Say No
10. Cover Drive - Sparks
11. Jennifer Lopez ft Pitbull - Dance Again
12. MASHUP - Knife Party & Nicky Romero - We Found House
13. Sean Paul - She Doesn't Mind
14. Chuckie - Who Is Ready To Jump
15. Calvin Harris ft Ne Yo - Let's Go
16. Avicii - Silhouettes
17. Deadmau5 - The Veldt

I Hope you enjoy listening to this mix - it's great for workouts, commuting, or pre OUT OUT gatherings.  By popular demand it is under 1hr20 so it fits snuggly on a CD too.

Please leave feedback here on the site - your comments & support makes this all worthwhile.

Big Love Sealed

So, then guys & girls, welcome to my latest Commercial Floorfillers Mix – March 2012.
Sorry I’ve taken so long to post a new mix, but I promise it’s well worth the wait. Loads of really good tunes around at the moment, especially remixes and bootlegs. This podcast is designed to get you bopping along & singing (well most of them are vocal trax!).
There’s loads of number 1’s in this, and remixes from some of my favourite producers including Dave Aude, eSquire & Axwell. This podcast signifies the type of music I like to play when in a commercial setting – typically a pre-club bar – getting you fired up ready for your onward journey into clubland (although quite rightly, a number of the trax I would also play in main room of a commercial club too!).
So here’s the all important Tracklisting.

1. decksteria ID
2. Emile Sande – Next To Me (Mojam)
3. Madeon vs Madonna – Get Into Icarus
4. High Society – Voyeur
5. Whitney Houston – I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Bad Boy Bill bootleg)
6. Kelly Clarkson – What Doesn’t Kill You (Project 46)
7. Mashup – International Chicks Party Whenever
8. Labrinth – Last Time (R3hab)
9. Cover Drive – Twilight (Fasano & Forest)
10. Sebastian Ingross – Calling (Lose My Mind)
11. David Guetta ft Sia – Titanium (eSquire)
12. Coldplay – Charlie Brown (Dave Aude)
13. Jessie J – Domino (eSquire vs Offbeat)
14. Rihanna – We Found Love (Chuckie)
15. Whitney Houston – So Emotional (eSquire vs Offbeat)
16. Gotye – Somebody That I Used To Know (Mike Gloria)
17. Ivan Gough – In My Mind (Axwell)

Hope it gets you movin’ and singin’!! Final track is a banger...will set you up nicely for Houseteria Volume 3 (upfront dance music)....coming soon!
As always please do leave a comment & requests for future podcasts – you, the listener, make this podcast possible Laughing
See you on the dancefloor.

Here it is then - Houseteria Volume 2.

This is my "brand" for more up-front club music - proper big room hands in the air stuff. It's totally perfect for us in the gym when working out too!

With this brand of mix I like to play a lot of my personal favourites - old and new - a lot of it generally doesn't get requested as much as the usual commercial bits & pieces so it's a good "release" for me! On here you'll still find some of my favourite artists - some you'll know and some you won't!

Please enjoy the mix - let me know what you think.

Tack list - 1. Brightness 2. The New Day 3. Camorra 4. Anima 5. Toulouse 6. Resurrection 7. Pandora 8. Still Speeding 9.Shunjuku 10. I Said Flashback 11. Past Dreaming 12. Snapshot 13. Zen 14.Phoenix 15. Mozart

Thanks for your continued support. I hope the music creates the hysteria that it was designed to do.....

Big Love

So, Summer's already gone for another year and for those lucky enough to have partied hard over the season, there sure were some awesome tunes around!

I put this mix together for you to reminisce over Summer 2011 - it'll get you right in the mood for going out and getting on it too!

The mix is over an hour long packed with mainly new tunes (and a few from earlier in the year which are still doing the rounds now!).

There's some awesome remixes in there and indeed, an appearance or 2 from one of my favourite commercial artists - David Guetta.

So, play it loud and enjoy.

Please feel free to leave feedback either here or @decksteria on twitter, or decksteria on facebook.

As always, thanks very much for listening, I hope I acheived my goal....!!

Decksteria - Houseteria July 2011

The hedonistic season of summer is well & truly upon us. I put together a mix of all the House tunes that are really firing me up at the moment hence I've called it Houseteria!

This is NOT for the faint-hearted and this time round, I've stayed fairly clear of the commercial scene. Instead it's got a wicked range of House tracks which over the space of the 70 minutes defines what Summer raving, for me, is all about!

Imagine heading off to one of the Euro clubbing islands - there's funky house to get yer wiggle on, then when you're smiling and you're in the zone, the dj (aka me!) switches it to some underground beats for a couple - check those basslines...then pick it up for mainroom sessions and some real reach for the lazer stuff!

The podcast is packed full of awesome tunes from some of the biggest names in the business. So whether you're chilling with a beer & bbq at home, getting ready for a night out, in the gym gettin in shape for your summer esccape, or whether you're already on a large one on holiday - load this & turn your sound up to the max!

Please leave me a comment on here or find me at www.facebook.com/decksteria

Thank you for your support. Being a dj is not just about mixing music, for me it's more about working a crowd - so I hope you enjoy the entire 70 minutes!
